『熱盛』とは、「熱く盛り上がったシーン」で使われる掛け声、また興奮している様子を表す時に使用される言葉。

発祥は、テレビ朝日系のニュース番組「報道ステーション」のスポーツコーナー。熱く盛り上がったシーンの映像が流れた際に使用される「熱盛！（あつもりぃぃぃ！）」という迫力のある掛け声とテロップが元になっている。「熱盛（あつもり）」という表現は、コーナー担当の稲葉篤紀（あつのり）氏の名前を文字ったもの。

スポーツコーナーでのみ使用される掛け声だが、誤って報道コーナーで使われるという放送事故（2017年4月）が発生し、その様子がSNSで拡散されたことで広く世間に知られるようになった。

2020年3月に発売されたゲームソフト「あつまれ どうぶつの森 Switch版（任天堂発売）」の略称も、「熱盛」と同じ読みで「あつ森」。発売以来ソフトの売れ行きが好調で、インターネットやSNS上でも熱く盛り上がっていることから、「あつ森」を意図的に「熱盛」と誤表記する投稿も数多く見られる。

Meaning / Origin

“atsumori” is the shout  used in “hot and exciting scenes”. (atui=hot, moriagaru=exciting)
It is also used as a word that expresses how excited you are.

It originated in the sports corner of the TV Asahi news program “News Station”, and when a hot and exciting scene was played, a powerful hanging and telop “atumori!” is used.

The expression “atumori” was named after Atsunori Inaba, who is in charge of the sports corner.

It is a shout that is only used in the sports corner, but a broadcast accident (April 2017) accidentally used in the news corner occurred, and the situation was spread by SNS and became widely known .

The abbreviation for the game software “atumare doubutu no mori / Animal Crossing: New Horizons (released by Nintendo)” released in March 2020 is also called “あつ森 (atumori)” in the same way as “熱盛（atumori)”.
Since the sales of the software has beem selling well and it is getting hot on the internet and SNS, many posts intentionally mistakenly call  “あつ森（atumori)” as “熱盛（atumori)”.
