『おけ』とは、「了解」を意味する若者言葉。「おっけー」が省略されたもの。LINEなどのトークアプリでメッセージを送る際、「おっけー」よりも「おけ」のほうが文字を打つ手間が少なく、早く返信できることから、ギャルなど若者を中心に使用されるようになった。

『おk』は、同じく「了解」を意味するネットスラング。キーボードが日本語入力の状態で「OK」とタイプすると「おk・オk」のように変換ミスが起きてしまうが、ひらがなとアルファベットの組み合わせで見た目も面白いことから、このまま使われるようになった。

今ではSNSやネット上の書き文字としてだけでなく、実際の会話でも使用されている。
