『語彙力』の本来の意味は、単語や言葉をどれだけ知っているか・またそれを使いこなす能力を表す言葉だが、2019年頃からインターネットやSNSを中心に使われ始めた『語彙力』は、「語彙力が低い」を省略したもので、語彙力が足りていない状態をカジュアルに表す言葉として使用されている。

自身または相手が発した言葉に対して、表現力の拙さや言葉のセンスのなさを指摘するときに使う。

ネットやSNSの投稿では、自身が書いた拙いコメントの文末に（語彙力）とカッコ書きで使うのが一般的。

The original meaning of “goiryoku” is how much you know a word , and the ability to use it (=vocabulary), but “goiryoku”, which began to be used around the Internet and SNS around 2019, is an abbreviation for “goiryoku ga hikui(=low vocabulary, poor expression)”, and is used as a casual term to describe a state in which vocabulary is inadequate.

It is used to point out the lack of expressiveness and lack of sense of words for the words spoken by oneself or the other person.

When posting on the internet or SNS, it is common to use  (語彙力)  and parentheses at the end of the poor comments I wrote.
